At GTK Academy of Martial Arts, we are committed to providing quality martial arts instruction and a positive training experience. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for tuition, memberships, programs, and merchandise.

 

1. Class & Membership Fees

• Registration Fees: All registration or enrollment fees are non-refundable.

• Tuition & Membership Payments:

  • Tuition or membership fees are generally non-refundable once payment has been processed.

  • In exceptional circumstances (such as relocation, medical conditions preventing participation, or other verified reasons), refunds may be granted at the discretion of management.

  • Requests must be submitted in writing to godfreyaknowles@gmail.com

 

2. Program & Event Fees (Seminars, Camps, Special Events)

• Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event: Full refund or credit toward future programs.

• Cancellations made within 3–6 days before the event: 50% refund or credit.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event: Non-refundable.

 

3. Merchandise & Equipment Sales

• Merchandise (uniforms, belts, gear, etc.) may be returned or exchanged within 10 days of purchase, provided items are unused, unworn, and in original packaging.

• Customized or special-order items are non-refundable.

• Defective products may be exchanged for the same item.

 

4. Trial Classes & Introductory Offers

• Fees for trial classes, introductory lessons, or promotional offers are non-refundable.

• If a student chooses to enroll after a trial, the payment may be applied as credit toward their membership (if advertised as such).

 

5. Refund Process

• Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.

• Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

• Credits toward future classes or programs may be offered as an alternative to a cash refund.

 

6. Non-Attendance & Missed Classes

• Missed classes are non-refundable.

• Students may be allowed to make up missed classes, subject to instructor approval and schedule availability.

 

7. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the revised “Effective Date.”
